L'Isle sur la Sorgue is among those villages that you shouldn’t miss when visiting Provence. It’s the “Mecca” for art, antique, and open market enthusiasts. (300 antique dealers). The town is also called the Venice of Provence after its numerous canals (Sorgue river) that flow through the town decorated with several water wheels.
