The village is situated on the Monts de Vaucluse, positioned on the mountainside with a slight slope facing the Luberon mountain. Business activity has developed in its surrounding district called « Coustellet », which bordures the joint districts of Robion and Maubec. The southern part of the town is made up mainly of agricultural land. The northern area is mostly filled with woods and “garrigue” (cedar forest) located on the Monts de Vaucluse. Cabrières is a lively village off the beaten tourist path and yet so close to Gordes and Avignon. (photo ©yourprovence).
