La Maison du Rêveur is an architect-designed house. Facing south west the secluded site commands superb views across valley of the Pay d’Apt to the mountains of the Luberon in the south and the historic villages of Gordes and Roussillon

SITUATION
La Maison du Rêveur is situated in the beautiful Vaucluse/Luberon area of Provence, South Eastern France
The area is not far from the historic cities of Avignon (45mins drive) and Aix en Provence (60 mins drive)

INTERIOR
Its configuration is composed of three buildings or blocks and a swimming pool, interconnected by a covered walkway to contain a paved sun terrace, which is ideal in the usually fine weather for alfresco dining, relaxing or exercising
The west building houses a fitted kitchen with the latest appliances and a dining area
The cooking equipment includes a gas hob and fan assisted electric oven
A dish washer and clothes washer are also provided as well as the usual refrigerator and deep freeze
There is also a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and separate WC
Full-length patio door open out on to the walkway and sun terrace
In addition to the walkway, a conservatory provides a hall way and connects the west building to the central living/reception room block
A spacious ‘L’ shaped reception room on two levels provides comfortable seating for up to twelve
The house is fully equipped with a flat-screen TV and hi-fi
The east building contains the remaining bedrooms with two double bed rooms and a single
A bathroom, shower, basin and WC, plus a separate WC are also in this block

EXTERIOR
Secluded amidst oak and pine groves and farmland, the house is set in its own extensive grounds amidst the upland pastures and fields of the Vaucluse
A generously sized swimming pool with child-safety barrier is at one side of the sun terrace ; Out-door tables with parasols and chairs provide seating for up to twelve, and in addition there are a variety of sun-loungers ; A gas fuelled barbeque is available for outside cooking and dining
The terrace is also shaded in part by an acacia tree in the north-west corner ; Walks along secluded paths and roads lead directly from the house into the surrounding hills
